    Primrose School of Cupertino located at 1002 S De Anza Blvd, San Jose, CA is seeking a full-time Preschool teachers. The children in this classrooms are ages 3 to 4 years old. Preschool Teacher: Child ratio is 1:12.

    We are looking for a teacher who is warm-hearted and who can introduce play-based activities and give children the care and love their need. intuitive teacher to provide learning with a lot of verbal focus and provide potty training support for our child. The desired Teacher should be fun, playful, engaging and attentive, and must be willing to collaborate and connect with the child’s parents

    Qualifications

    MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED

    12 core units classes with a grade of C or better required. ( child development, child-family-community,curriculum)

    Work experience in a licensed child care facility as a teacher.

    Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency (Title 22) including immunization, health screening,finger-printing and background check

    Must be able to lift up 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergencies.

    Proficient computer and internet skills

    Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children

    Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality

    Highly professional and dependable

    Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress

    Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    Job Responsibilities:

    Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children in a teacher

    Teachers should be able to assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis

    The teacher provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children

    The teacher ensures that all class bulletin boards are current and provides the parents with an overview of the material taught in class

    Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas, and playgrounds

    Assists and coordinates snacks, meals, naptime, and bathroom activities

    Attends all required staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions as determined by the Director

    Observe all rules and regulations about the health, safety, and care of children

    Maintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times

    Plans with Education Coach and implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials

    Plans with the Director all required parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations

    Performs other duties as assigned.
