Core Values: Our teachers are dedicated to equipping children with the knowledge and skills necessary for early success and school readiness. We believe that parental involvement is crucial in a child's development. By fostering a strong partnership with parents through regular communication, including newsletters and daily updates on their child's progress, we ensure a collaborative approach to education. We create a secure and nurturing environment where children can enhance their communication skills and express themselves confidently among their peers. Recognizing that each child learns differently, we value individualized learning experiences. Our focus is on boosting self-esteem, helping children identify their strengths, and building the confidence needed for a smooth transition to Kindergarten. Respect is at the core of our interactions with every child, family, and team member. Work Environment: At Steeplechase, we facilitate children's growth, learning, and skill development, which is both fulfilling and rewarding. Our Teachers are responsible for designing and implementing educational activities for young children, such as storytelling, art projects, and curriculum-based lessons. Ensuring the well-being and progress of the children aligns with Steeplechase Academy's standards and complies with the regulations set by the Kansas City Department of Education. Upholding respect for children and parents, our Teachers maintain a clean, safe, and well-equipped learning environment. Failure to meet these standards may compromise the safety and welfare of the children in our care.
