Job Title: Preschool and Child Care Teacher

Location: Tucson, Arizona Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Job Responsibilities:

Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with state and developmental guidelines.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Monitor and document children’s developmental progress and milestones.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Encourage social and emotional development through play and structured activities.

Supervise and assist children during daily routines, including meals, naps, and outdoor play.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred.

CPR and First Aid Certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for working with young children and commitment to their growth and development.
