Amazing Athletes is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Mobile Coaches and Assistant Coaches to join our team in Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale. This is a part-time position with the potential for growth as we expand our programs. Coaches will lead classes in local schools and daycare centers, teaching children a variety of sports and fitness activities.
Hours Available:
Monday Morning: 9:45 AM – 11:45 AM
Monday Afternoon: 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Tuesday Morning: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Tuesday Afternoon: 2:20 PM – 4:15 PM
Wednesday Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 4:15 PM OR 2:15 PM – 4:00 PM
Friday Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
We are looking for 10-15 hours per week spread across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Additional hours may be available as we continue to grow!
Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
About Amazing Athletes: Amazing Athletes offers a fun, structured program that introduces children to a variety of sports, promotes coordination, self-esteem, and fosters a lifelong love for sports and fitness. Our coaches play a key role in bringing these positive experiences to life for children ages 3-10.
We’re Looking for Coaches Who Are:
Upbeat, Positive, & Energetic: Passionate about working with kids and fostering a fun, supportive environment.
Child-Loving: Enjoy engaging with children in a structured, educational setting.
Experienced (Preferred but Not Required): Experience working with young children, coaching, or participating in sports is a plus.
Reliable & Organized: Able to manage a schedule and handle logistical details with ease.
Able to Travel: Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license to travel to program locations (schools, daycares).
Flexible: Available to work weekday mornings and afternoons.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and follow approved lesson plans for all classes.
Arrive on time and start classes promptly.
Instruct children on sports and fitness activities using the approved curriculum.
Communicate effectively with school staff and directors about class activities and needs.
Ensure attendance is accurate and track student participation.
Wear the approved uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
Report on children's progress to parents and caregivers, both verbally and in writing.
Complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
Provide notice or coverage for any planned absences.
Maintain and transport required class equipment (all equipment is provided).
Job Requirements:
Must pass a background check and/or FBI fingerprinting (as required by state).
Strong team player who can work independently.
Neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
Physically capable of demonstrating and participating in physical activities with children (bending, jumping, running).
Comfortable communicating with both children and adults (facility directors, parents).
Reliable, punctual, and proactive in handling responsibilities.
Creative and adaptable in handling varying class situations.
Patient, with a passion for working with children and fostering positive experiences.
