Thank you for viewing our job advertisement! This job posting is for a full-time Assistant Toddler / Young Three's Teacher. We are seeking candidates that have experience with the age group of 2 to 3 years old in a child licensed care center or daycare. We are well staffed but desire to add to the team now that winter is approaching. At Primrose you will feel at home with a tenured team of early education professionals that have been at the company for years. We have created a family culture at our Primrose School, owned and operated by the local franchise owners and a dedicated management team. Primrose lesson plans are already written so you will not have the responsibility of having to create a curriculum; and we do your supply shopping for you :-). We are looking for great people to add to our team so that we continue to provide the best care and education in our community. Our classrooms are large and are fully stocked with new, age appropriate toys and furniture.

Responsibilities:
Responsible (along with a co-teacher) for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children in a classroom
Observes all rules and regulations of Primrose School of Broadview Heights and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule.
Maintains a positive relationship with parents
Gets children engaged in classroom activities by employing a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)
Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
Desired skills and experience:
Proven experience as a Lead or Assistant Preschool or Pre-kindergarten Teacher
The ability to manage a classroom of up to 24 children with a fun, loving, positive attitude
Passionate about Early Childhood Education
Creative, Collaborative, Engaging and Nurturing
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
