We are looking for candidates with previous experience operating a Press Brake in a Steel Service Center or fabrication environment. Experienced candidates should have the technical knowledge and ability to properly set up and operate the press, conveyors and transfer tables to bend a variety of plate steel products. The bending must be to the position, size and tolerance requirements as stated on the processing work orders.
Opening is for 2nd shift (3PM - 11PM)
Individuals must also be able to:
1-2 years of Press Brake experience
Operate press brake machine
Operate, set up, or troubleshoot assigned machinery to ensure that quality and productivity goals are met daily
Ability to read blueprints
Maintains machine operation by solving production process problems; making equipment adjustments; reporting production and quality data; reporting decisions made; referring questions to the supervisor
Maintains quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspection
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Read, understand and comprehend written work instructions
Display the ability to accurately use basic measuring devices, including tape measure, micrometers, protractors, and other measuring equipment.
Experience in a fast-paced environment where priorities change on a regular basis
Display the ability to use manual hand tools, including wrenches and clamps
Ability to stand, lift, climb and perform various other physical functions
When job duties are not required, the individual must be able to perform the duties of another job function as determined by the supervisor
