    Job Overview:

    ProSteel Security Products, Inc., a Safe Manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake machinery, a strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings, and a commitment to quality and safety. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our press brake to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    - Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring accuracy in bending and forming metal materials.
    - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine material specifications and machine settings.
    - Select appropriate tooling for each job and perform necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
    - Monitor the production process, performing quality checks on parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
    - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
    - Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on press brake equipment as needed.
    - Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding job progress, issues, or required changes.
    - Assist with inventory management and the maintenance of materials and supplies.
    - Uphold a high standard of quality and attention to detail, ensuring that all finished products meet company and industry standards.

    ** Requirements and Qualifications**

    - High school diploma or GED certificate.
    - Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
    - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
    - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    - Knowledge of different types of bending and forming processes and techniques.
    - Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
    - Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment.
    - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
    - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) frequently.
    - Capability to stand for extended periods and work in varying conditions.
    - Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
