  • Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    The Loan Processor/Funder is responsible for assisting Mortgage Loan Officers and Bankers with gathering and review of any required loan documentation to ensure complete and accurate files, coordination of loan closings in a timely manner, ensuring all documents are signed/executed properly, booking of new loans onto the core system and disbursing of loan funds. Loan Processor/Funders are responsible for ensuring all loan documentation is compliant with company policies and procedures and any applicable state/federal regulations.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Review loan applications/URLA for accuracy & completeness

    Review MLO and Banker notes for any special instruction or requirements

    Prepare and review initial loan disclosures for accuracy & completeness

    Review all electronic file documentation for accuracy & completeness

    Disclose all new applications received within the required 3 days

    Ensure all documentation is stored/named in our electronic file using approved naming conventions

    Lock loans with investor (when applicable) and within the LOS

    Complete any required tasks & functions within the LOS

    Request/obtain any required 3rd party verifications (VOE, VOM, VOL)

    Order flood determinations, appraisals and title commitment or letter reports, as needed/requested

    Communicate with the MLO, Banker or assigned Processor II (as needed)

    Order payoff quotes (internal & external)

    Review signed closing package to ensure accuracy & completeness

    Verify any at close conditions have addressed as needed

    Complete Funder Write Up & Booking sheets

    Book and fund loan on the core system

    Submit funding disbursement requests to loan servicing

    Complete all training as required or requested: BAI, KnowB4, and external (FHLB, MGIC, etc.)

    Comply with all bank policies & procedures as well as all applicable federal and state banking regulatory agency policies

    Comply with bank standards for attendance and hours of work

    Perform any other duties as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position and the Processing Dept.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

    Minimum two-year degree in business related field or two years of bank loan processing or title experience preferred. Previous financial institution customer service experience preferred.

    Travel:
