    Job Description

    This Position is Contingent on Contract Award.

    This position is in support of a proposed repatriation initiative. The purpose of the facilities is to provide comprehensive care for migrant individuals who are awaiting reunification or repatriation. This care will begin as soon as each occupant arrives at the facility and will last until their arranged departure. The comprehensive care includes but is not limited to initial screening and exams, identifications of prior conditions and allergies, day to day care of routine, urgent and emergent medical conditions.

    International SOS is looking for an individual to perform tasks related to the Prevention of Sexual Abuse to implement and manage programs aimed at preventing sexual abuse within installations. This role focuses on developing policies, conducting training, and promoting a culture of awareness and accountability to ensure the safety and well-being.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement prevention programs and policies aimed at reducing the incidence of sexual abuse.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of sexual abuse prevention.
    • Collaborate with community organizations, law enforcement, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance prevention efforts and resources.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention programs and initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Serve as a resource for individuals seeking support or reporting incidents of sexual abuse, ensuring they receive appropriate assistance and guidance.
    • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, outreach activities, and program outcomes, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Create and distribute educational materials to raise awareness and inform the community about sexual abuse and prevention strategies.
    • Coordinate outreach efforts to engage the community and build partnerships that support prevention initiatives.
    • Stay informed about best practices, emerging trends, and legal requirements related to sexual abuse prevention and response.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among various departments and stakeholders to strengthen prevention efforts and ensure a comprehensive approach.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Knowledge:

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the past three years.
    • Proven experience in program development, community outreach, or a related field, often including experience working in victim advocacy, mental health, or social services.
    • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices related to sexual abuse prevention and response, as well as an understanding of trauma-informed care.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for conducting training, creating educational materials, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
    • Experience in designing and facilitating training sessions or workshops on sexual abuse prevention topics.
    • Ability to work effectively with individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and diverse backgrounds.
    • Experience working with US military healthcare regulations and standards of care preferred.
    • Experience working in austere environments preferred.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    Experience Preferred:

    • Experience working contract programs preferred.

    Education Required:

    • A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, criminology, or a related field preferred.
    • Relevant certifications in counseling, social work, or trauma-informed care may be required or preferred.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
    • Current Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) Certification preferred.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
    • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred.

    Physical Demands

    • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
    • Will involve assisting in the lifting and moving of patients.
    • May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 35 lbs.

    Other Special Qualifications:

    • Must be a US Citizen or possess a permanent resident card.
    • Current MRPT Clearance preferred.

    Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.

    Compensation| Min: $45,000 Max: $120,000
