    Job Description

    The Pricing Analyst partners with Sales, Legal, Technical Pricing, Finance, Operations, and Contract Administration to analyze and prepare finanical models for sales proposals within the Clean Earth business unit. The Analyst will also perform ad hoc analysis as required and a variety of pricing related activities such as but not limited to the following: maintain price lists, perform high visibility special projects, identify revenue leakage opportunities, perform pricing analysis, etc.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Process sales proposals through profit model
      1. Evaluate deal pricing structures to ensure fit with company objectives. Effectively evaluate deal economics of trade-offs between price and incremental account penetration. Requires keen sense of business and financial acumen.
      2. Model scenarios and calculate impact of changes to individual terms and pricing scenarios.
      3. Collect, analyze and report on status of major agreements in the sales cycle.
      4. Maintain documentation of approved proposals and reconcile approved proposal with executed contracts.
      5. Assist Sales team with preparing accurate contractual documents as required for customers.
    • Compile analytical data to drive decisions
      1. Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management
      2. Perform analysis and implement improvements to financial models to improve accuracy.
      3. Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives, as required
      • Partner with Sales Team through by creating models of deal scenarios.
      • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance team members to document approvals, new cost determinations, and ensure accuracy of various Sales documents received.
    • Communication:
      1. Participate in weekly calls with sales team to discuss deals in various stages of the sales cycle.
      2. Participate in conversations providing recommendations to Sales Teams to develop offers and customer messaging.
      3. Propose and execute process improvements to existing pricing process workflows
      4. Ability to clearly present financials to executive leadership for approvals on various deals and pricing analysis
    • Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management

    Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

    Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Education equivalent to Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business or the equivalent in related work experience.
    • Three or more years of progressively responsible business analysis, financial analysis or pricing experience
    • Demonstrates strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills. Must be able to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections. Must be able to effectively present financial information and analysis to management and senior leadership
    • Excellent computer skills required. Requires expert knowledge of Microsofte Excel and Powerpoint, as well as familiarity with PowerBI reporting and analysis.
    • Demonstrated excellent math skills and strong attention to detail are required to be successful in this position
    • Demonstrates the ability to meet project deadlines and establish and maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels in the organization. Ability to managing relationships and work collaboratively with multiple constituents and provide informal influence on to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Demonstrates excellent communication skills within all levels of an organization in a clear, concise, organized and diplomatic manner; listens to others to respond effectively to ideas and questions.
    • Demonstrates ability to prioritize activities and manage time with minimal supervision, and maintain a calm demeanor at all times.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Demonstrates the ability to function independently, initiate/drive projects to completion with minimal guidance, and resolve problems without direction. Proactively identify potential roadblocks and put contingency plans in place.
    • Analytical thinking including the ability to make financial forecasts and determine trends. Must be able to balance long term and short term organizational needs.
    • Critical thinking and highly analytical to develop or assess strategic plans and identifying critical success factors.
    • Demonstrates the ability to meet project deadlines and establish and maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels in the organization. Ability to manage relationships and work collaboratively with multiple consistuents and provide informal influence to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Demonstrates the ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, organized and diplomatic manner; listen to others to respond effectively to ideas and questions.
    • Demonstrates the ability to function independently, initiate/drive projects to completion with minimal guidance, and resolve problems without direction. Proactively identify potential roadblocks and put contingency plans in place.
