    Job Description

    Do you enjoy working with numbers as part of a project team? The Pricing Analyst role works with our field operations and the proposals team to create competitive budgets that are included in proposals for new and rebid business. If this piques your interest, read more below and apply today!

    • Thoroughly review requests for proposals (RFPs) to understand all requirements, including available funding amount, required costs, and any budget constraints to ensure compliance with request.
    • Collaborate with field operations to understand the proposed business model and how that model translates into staffing and operational cost needs to create a competitive budget.
    • Work with field operations to create reasonable and competitive performance/profit matrices, when required.
    • Utilize current profit and loss statements for rebid models to ensure budget is reasonable when compared to current financial statements.
    • Attend narrative calls and/or communicate with proposal writers to ensure that all costs included in the proposal narrative are accounted for in the budget.
    • Translate internal budget onto required budget forms. Write budget detail narrative to fully explain budget as required per RFP.
    • Conduct any necessary follow-up activities, including Best and Final Offers (BAFO), requested revisions, etc..
    • Coordinate with senior leadership for review and approval of proposed budgets.
    • Complete budget reviews for budgets prepared by other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with RFP guidelines.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
    • One to three years of experience in developing project budgets and working as part of a project team
    • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel and Word
    • Familiarity with profit and loss statements and ability to utilize trends in budget development
    • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel
    • Adherence to internal and external deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
    • Minimal travel required
