Job Summary: Directly reporting to the Pricing Manager Sea Logistics, Northeast USA and is working with the Sales Team, Accounts owners, business operations and Sea freight Trade Managers to support set growth and profit-based targets for the Northeast Area in USA.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and manage replies to mid-size regional bid (RFQs) and spot quotations requests
- Manages the booking authorization process in coordination with the origin country and in alignment with the pricing and carrier strategy established for the Northeast Area in USA.
- Work within the Northeast Pricing Team to formulate Responses to local / regional RFQs and local spot pricing requests.
- Manage pricing updates for existing customers (rates extension and / or revision, monthly market GRI’s (General Rates Increases), quarterly bunker updates (BAF / BUC) .
- Create analytical dashboards and gap analysis to monitor and guide improvements in productivity, carriers and customer performances.
- Work closely with Pricing and Yield Managers to develop pricing strategies for new / existing customers.
- Work closely with Trade Managers to monitor trends and carrier performance on all trade lanes.
- You will monitor main Key Performance Indicator’s which include number of quotes, turnaround time, win ratio, volume performance against set minimum quantity commitments (MQC), booking adherence to contractual agreements & Carrier performance against committed space allocation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
