Pricing Specialist - Public Safety Products Distributor - Base to 60k/year - Philadelphia, PA

• Our client is a full line industrial and safety products distributor. They protect “America’s Heroes” (Police, Fire, Emergency Response, etc.). They have been in business for over 40 years and sell primarily to local and state governments, along with fire departments, law enforcement, emergency response, public works, etc. They sell all kinds of products like face shields, helmets, laser protective glasses, bomb detection equipment, etc.
• They are looking for a Pricing Specialist to join one of their locations in the Philadelphia area. The Pricing Specialist will assist the pricing department with day-to-day operations. The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for interacting with suppliers and internal departments to help ensure the company’s pricing integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and help implement pricing changes.
• Help maintain current price list data within Epicor P21.
• Add new items to P21/catalog from current suppliers, creating descriptions and assigning product groups.
• Add/update retail pricing, while working with Marketing and Sales to establish and maintain protocols.
• Edit item ID’s in P21.
• Merge duplicates in P21.
• Review new items entered by Customer Service and add supplier/contract pricing as applicable.
• Communicate changes in pricing to all applicable parties.
• Help maintain inventory data integrity.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding updated pricing files and discounts.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED certificate, college degree preferred
• Proficient in P21 preferred
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 to include Excel and Outlook
• Excellent ability to use Excel, including use of basic formulas
• Strong mathematical ability, understanding of margin and markup

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 55k - 60k/year range
