Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Bilingual Mental Health Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Responsibilities
Perform intake assessments
Meet with newly assigned clients and conduct introductory session
Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, and families dealing with Substance Abuse
Create individualized treatment plans for each client
Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan in our EMR system
Perform regular wellness checks
Participate in clinical peer reviews as assigned
Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Abide by HIPPA and Confidentiality Laws
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
Previous experience as a mental health therapist for substance abuse preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized
Spanish Speaking a must*
