    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    This is a paid internship to support the Primrose Children’s Foundation. In this role, you will partner with internal and external partners to fulfill the mission of the foundation. The ideal individual for this role is pursuing a career in non-profit administration, communications, public administration, or a related field. In this role, you will handle a variety of foundation-related work including marketing, community outreach, and research. This is a part-time, short-term (summer),hybrid role.

    Assist with the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events, including fundraisers, community partner meetings, and board meetings.

    Draft email, website, and general marketing copy as well as video scripts to support the Foundation’s rebranding and communication of impact.

    Assist with community outreach and grantmaking, including supporting relationships with donors, grantees, nonprofit partners, board and committee members, and other stakeholders and developing grantmaking process and policy.

    Provide support for ongoing development activities, including developing and executing a donor recognition program, and prospect research.

    Conduct research in support of the Foundation’s mission and initiatives, such as preparing background on donor management software, bylaws and governing document updates, and similar projects.

    Other administrative and operational duties to support the Foundation.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    1-2 years related experience in a volunteer or paid capacity.

    Current undergraduate or graduate student in non-profit administration, business, public administration, political science, communication, marketing, public relations, early childhood education or a related field.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit

    Verbal and written communication skills

    Problem-solver who uses time effectively and efficiently

    Ability to manage time and competing priorities while delivering service excellence

    Experience in Adobe, Canva, video editing, and experience with any donor management platform or CRM (Little Green Light, Salesforce, Bloomerang, Blonterra, etc) is desirable.
