    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    Director, Lender Relations which is known internally as the Director, Franchise Financing builds and maintains key relationships on behalf of Primrose Schools throughout the lending community, including the Small Business Association and lenders. H/She serves as a conduit to translate complex information related to securing financing to Primrose Franchise Owners and prospects. This individual supports our goal of opening more schools to serve more children through the efficacy of the franchise financing process. The Director, Franchise Financing leads a team and focuses on creating loyalty, value and trust with internal and external stakeholders.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Maintain Preferred Lender relationships for Franchise Owner financing on behalf of Primrose Schools ensuring adequate lending capacity with the brand is maintained.

    Support lending needs for transfers as well as Brand Refresh capital needs

    Review and approve Franchise Owner financial capabilities for expansion

    Provide oversight to the loan closing process for all Franchise Owner financing, including seeking opportunities for enhancement

    Provide financing oversight and serve as a resource to all Franchise Owners as they progress through the lending process

    Maintain relationships with the SBA and key members of its administration

    Ensure Bank Credit Report is updated and submitted to FranData

    Manages vendor relationship with FranData, among others, and ensures service level agreements are met

    Ensure Brand’s growth strategies are supported by lending environment; proactively provides feedback and suggestions to better align our strategies and goals to the current lending environment

    Works to ensure new growth strategy with High Net Worth investors is accommodated with lending strategies and contacts

    Monitor legislation with the potential to impact the SBA lending process to aid Franchise Owners in understanding and traversing inherent complexities

    Broadly communicate legislation that could support, or impact, the SBA lending process or existing SBA loans to Primrose Franchise Owners and prospects

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Our ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following skills and competencies:

    5-10 years of experience in Small Business Association (SBA) lending

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, MBA is desired

    Proven experience managing a team

    Proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and deadlines, while continuing to deliver service excellence

    Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to multiple groups, both up and down/ internal and external

    Proven collaborator with the ability to rally multiple resources to accomplish goals

    Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

    Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Power Point, Word, and Excel
