Role Overview

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas turbine aerodynamics.
- Current proficiency with 1-D, 2-D, and 3-D aerodynamic design tools and methodologies.
- Strong coding skills in Python, C, C++, or similar languages.
- Experience collaborating with other design disciplines to develop advanced aerodynamic technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art aerodynamic technologies for both cooled and uncooled turbine blades and nozzles.
- Proven experience in automating design processes, including CFD pre- and post-processing.
- Experience with software such as ANSYS CFX, STAR CCM, and geometry creation tools like Creo.
Desired Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (required)
- 5+ years of relevant gas turbine aerodynamics experience (required)
- Proficiency in 1-D, 2-D, and 3-D aerodynamic design tools (required)
