About you:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.
- Knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Proficient in Azure Active Directory (AAD) for identity and access management and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
- Knowledge of Azure monitoring and management tools, such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
- Understanding of Azure security features and best practices for securing cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Skilled in managing IT projects and associated team members with a primary focus is on the implementation and delivery of technical initiatives.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, assess technology options, and create high-level solutions that align with the division’s long-term goals and priorities.
- Experience creating and maintaining infrastructure using public cloud services, specifically AWS or Azure.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
- Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field. A minimum of ten years of experience supporting operations, maintenance, and administration of information technology infrastructure.
- A minimum of five years of experience as a solution architect, principal/senior engineer, lead developer, or similar role with experience architecting cloud native solutions and an understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
