Technical Source is currently in search of a Principal Controls Engineer for our pharmaceutical client located in the Marion-Asheville, NC area. Qualified candidates will have experience programming and troubleshooting PLC based controls system used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Responsibilities of the Controls Engineer include:

• Program and troubleshoot Rockwell controls systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of automated control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Servo Drives)
• develop and execute GMP documentation and validation protocols to maintain GMP compliance

Qualifications of the Controls Engineer include:

• 7+ years’ experience troubleshooting specific automated manufacturing equipment, including extensive knowledge of PLCs, control panels, and instrumentation
• Knowledge of GMP and processes in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs

Compensation for the Controls Engineer includes:

• Pay of $105,000 - $145,000 based on experience and fit
• Benefits, medical, dental, and vision offered
• No Corp to Corp or Visa sponsorships at this time
