About the Role

As a Principal Developer, you will design, develop, and implement FIORI applications on SAP BTP to support the organization’s S/4HANA transformation. This role offers flexibility, with a preference for candidates based near Dallas, TX, or Fort Lauderdale, FL, who can work onsite as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver architecturally compliant, sustainable solutions while adhering to best practices and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance FIORI applications on SAP BTP to meet business objectives.
• Lead technical development efforts in SAP S/4HANA implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Holistically design solutions, considering their impact on the enterprise landscape and ensuring long-term sustainability.
• Develop test scripts, troubleshoot, and maintain applications and interfaces.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware products.
• Drive coding standards initiatives and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Agile teams to drive project success.
• Provide technical leadership for large-scale development projects.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and training materials.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 6+ years in software application development, with significant experience in SAP BTP and FIORI.
  • Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations and developing FIORI applications.
  • Strong coding skills in relevant languages (e.g., JavaScript, ABAP, or SAP UI5).
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes and SDLC methodologies.
  • Experience in designing architecturally compliant solutions in complex environments.
• Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with offshore and third-party development teams.
• Familiarity with additional SAP ecosystem tools and technologies.
• Proven track record of mentoring and coaching developers.
