About the Role

As a Principal Developer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing SAP CPI solutions that meet complex business requirements. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with a preference for candidates based near Dallas, TX, or Fort Lauderdale, FL, who can work onsite as needed. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical development efforts, and ensure the sustainability of solutions in a dynamic ERP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP CPI integrations for S/4HANA in Logistics, FI, and SuccessFactors.
• Holistically design solutions, considering their impact across the entire enterprise landscape.
• Develop and enhance software applications or integrations by following best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing integrations and develop test scripts for new applications.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Drive the adoption of coding standards, quality assurance processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with third-party development teams and oversee code reviews.
• Participate in Agile teams, driving Behavior-Driven Design (BDD) processes and automation initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate risks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including training materials and process documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 6+ years in application development, with a focus on SAP CPI and S/4HANA implementations.
  • Proven experience with SAP integration technologies for Logistics, FI, and SuccessFactors.
  • Deep understanding of SAP architecture and best practices.
  • Strong coding and debugging skills, with expertise in ABAP, Java, or other relevant languages.
  • Experience in designing architecturally compliant system landscapes.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project lifecycle management.
• Skills:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with third-party development teams and offshore resources.
