Job Description

Principal Service Solutions is looking for a Technical Trainer to teach Precision Workmanship training classes covering theory and hands-on skills on advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a technical teaching facility in Albany NY.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Main base of operation is in the Albany, NY area.
• Presents technical training in house and at customer sites, focusing on safety and quality workmanship standards
• Provides technical expertise and best-known methods to assist with semiconductor system maintenance and repair.
• Manages classroom/lab activities to assure fulfilment of course objectives
• Maintains and replenishes training equipment to ensure readiness for upcoming course deliveries
• Requires occasional domestic travel, up to 20% - 25%
• Possible international travel

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Vacuum technology and troubleshooting methodology
• Basic Electronic circuitry and troubleshooting methodology
• High mechanical aptitude
• Pneumatic Valve control

OPTIONAL TECHNICAL SKILL:

• Semiconductor industry experience
• Understands cleanroom protocols
• Familiar with tools used to troubleshoot, repair, and replace electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic hardware
• Understanding of basic gas manifold components including MFC’s, regulators, and various gas line connection devices.
• Able to communicate basics of working on tools, eg. torque, fitting gaskets, terminating wiring, repairing broken bolts, leak checking, etc..
• High attention to safety

FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE

• Demonstrate conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
