Job Summary: This position supports the Print Shop and all areas covered by Media and Facility Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Organization of Print Shop materials (1 Corinthians 14:33) • Manage workflow of Print Shop requests • Learn the different aspects and job responsibilities of the Director of Purchasing and Print Shop • Print items requested by ministries for all campuses • Run Print Shop machinery, clean as needed, keep blade on cutter sharpened (see manual for instructions), and fix problems as they arise or request repairs/maintenance on equipment (Proverbs 1:5) • Keep track of budget vs actuals throughout the year • Maintain inventories in Print Shop, ordering supplies to keep ahead of requests and staying in budget (Colossians 3:17) • Keep supply pricing up to date, such as paper and roll prices • Keep Print Shop’s folders and forms up to date • Oversee Cargo van keys and schedule the van as needed • Utilize e-Space for room and resource scheduling (adding & removing people, rooms, resources, etc.) • Deliver current room and resource spreadsheets weekly • Keep print logs current and deliver monthly Print Shop expense reports to Accounting • Use Basecamp to find print file locations as needed to support ministries • Function as a productive part of the church staff and attend staff meetings (1 Peter 4:10) • Help support the Purchasing/Receiving department, such as answering the receiving door as needed, cover for lunches, when necessary, assist staff with needs and log what was taken (1 Corinthians 12:20) • Order water based on ministries needs, pickup from the store and deliver to the ministry leaders • Place Sam’s order and pickup the items as needed • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
Job Skills and Competencies: • Ability to edit graphics for minor errors in material sent to the Print Shop • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in team situations as well as the ability to work independently • Organization, administrative and leadership skills (1 Corinthians 14:40) • Have social perceptiveness to be aware of diverse personalities and have Godly discernment to react and respond to situations as needed • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.) software • Know and effectively use Adobe Products, such as: Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
