    Key Responsibilities:

    Submit insurance prior authorization requests for home health services in compliance with payer requirements.

    Work closely with physicians, medical staff, and insurance companies to secure approval for patient care services.

    Review patient charts and clinical documentation to ensure accurate and thorough prior authorization requests.

    Communicate effectively with insurance providers and resolve any issues or delays in the approval process.

    Maintain accurate records of all prior authorization activities and document communications.

    Stay updated on insurance policies and regulations, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

    Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth and timely authorization process.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance prior authorization, preferably in home health or a healthcare setting.
