We are seeking a Prior Authorization/ Referral Coordinator to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with specialty pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies
• familiarity with drug assist programs
• Starting patients on biologics
• Have experience with incoming and outgoing referrals
• Maintain record of client contact information
• communicating with providers
• Obtain appropriate documentation to validate approvals of authorizations
• Receiving and sending faxes
• Performing other administrative duties assigned
• knowledge of scheduling

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience Prior Authorization
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous experience in Dermatology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous with referrals
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Proven to be a team player but can solve problems independently.
• Reliable, self starter
• Would prefer a nurse or medical assistant with Dermatology background
