    JOB SUMMARY:

    A Private Care Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules of caregivers and patients within a private care setting, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and in alignment with client needs. The role involves working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and caregivers to develop and maintain personalized care schedules. The scheduler ensures that all shifts are adequately covered, and that caregivers have the necessary information and resources to provide high-quality care.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Previous experience in scheduling, healthcare administration, or customer service.

    2. Strong organizational and communication skills.

    3. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

    4. Knowledge of healthcare procedures or private care services is a plus.

    5. Familiarity with scheduling software or tools is preferred.

    6. Compassionate and customer-service-oriented approach to caregiving and family interactions.

    RESPONSIBLITIES:

    1. Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules, ensuring that shifts are filled and service continuity is maintained.

    2. Client Communication: Act as a liaison between clients/families and caregivers to communicate any changes or updates to care schedules.

    3. Caregiver Support: Provide caregivers with essential information about clients' needs and preferences, including any special requirements or instructions.

    4. Monitoring and Adjusting Schedules: Address any scheduling conflicts, shift cancellations, or last-minute changes, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.

    5. Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of schedules, changes, and caregiver attendance to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

    6. Quality Assurance: Work closely with the care team to ensure that services provided meet the client’s expectations and quality standards.

    7. Problem Solving: Quickly respond to any issues related to caregiver availability, patient needs, or scheduling conflicts.

    8. On call afterhours and weekends: Need to be available to work weekends and after hour shifts

    9. Perform duties as a caregiver & Home Health Aide in the event of an emergency

    10. Perform other duties as assigned

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

    Works indoors in agency office and patient homes and travels to/from patient homes.
