We are seeking a Private Chef to be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals for our family, in a private residence. Their duties are focused on creating personalized dining experiences that align with the our tastes, dietary preferences, and special requests.

Key Responsibilities:
Meal Planning & Menu Creation:
Design customized menus based on client preferences, dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free, low-carb), and nutritional needs.
Suggest seasonal, fresh, and innovative dishes to keep the menu interesting and diverse.
Work with clients to understand their likes, dislikes, and any special food preferences.
Meal Preparation:
Prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and snacks, ensuring all dishes are high-quality and prepared from scratch.
Handle all aspects of meal prep including ingredient sourcing, shopping, and cooking.
Ensure food presentation meets high standards.
Dietary & Health Considerations:
Tailor meals according to specific dietary preferences, food allergies, or health-related needs
Stay informed about nutrition and current food trends.
Cleaning & Kitchen Management:
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
Clean kitchen equipment and dining areas after cooking, ensuring the kitchen is ready for the next meal.
Ensure that the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations.
Client Communication & Collaboration:
Communicate directly with clients to confirm preferences, schedule, and any changes in the menu.
Be flexible and willing to adjust meals based on client requests.
Provide a high level of customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
Culinary Education: A degree or formal training in culinary arts is often preferred, though extensive experience in the field can substitute for formal education.
Food Safety Certification: Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and health regulations.
Creative Cooking Skills: Ability to develop innovative, high-quality dishes that meet clients’ needs.
Organization & Time Management: Strong ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple meals or events.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, understand their preferences, and work well under pressure.
Flexibility: Must be adaptable to the needs and schedules of clients,
Attention to Detail: Precision in cooking, presentation, and adhering to client preferences.
Work Schedule & Environment:
Hours: Hours can vary and are flexible
Location: Meals are prepared and served in the client’s home
Travel: In some cases, a private chef may need to travel with the client for vacations, business trips, or events.
