  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Private Dining Associate serves as the liaison between the event sales team and event execution team to ensure all parties have a detailed understanding of scheduled events and each client’s expectations. Reports to the Events Sales Manager and General Manager of Restaurants.

    • Manage billing and ensure accurate documentation for all event-related transactions.

    • Design and update event floor plans and graphics to meet client specifications.

    • Conduct site visits for both prospective and confirmed events, providing detailed walkthroughs and addressing client inquiries.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact during event setup and execution, liaising between Operations and Kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery.

    • Coordinate client requests in a timely manner and ensure all needs are met.

    • Support the Private Dining Sales Manager with administrative tasks, client follow-ups, and event coordination as needed.

    • Manage reactive sales for mid-level events (up to 30 guests) under the guidance of the Private Dining Sales Manager.

    • Handle inquiries through the events phone line and assist with additional projects assigned by management, ensuring timely and quality completion.

    • Develop menus and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) in collaboration with the store team for private dining events.

    • Follow up on special orders with management staff and the kitchen to ensure proper execution.

    • Communicate with the sales team and clients to meet all requests and address any changes or needs.

    • Perform other duties as required or assigned to ensure seamless event execution.

    The hourly wage for this position starts at $20 an hour based on experience + commission plan.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in event coordination, sales, or a related field, with over 1 year in a similar role.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail in both written communication and physical spaces.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with clients and internal teams.

    • Proficiency in event planning software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Outstanding relationship-building skills, with previous experience in hospitality or retail.

    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Strong computer skills, with a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
