An Educational Remediation Specialist will work with students to help improve general concept mastery. Our Remediation Specialists are trusted experts; therefore, have the autonomy to utilize instructional methods and curricula of their choosing. Ideally, this instructor would be confident in language arts 1-8. Job Type: Part-time or Full-Time Salary: $30 - $35/hour Responsibilities: • Work with small groups of students or 1-on-1 with students who are struggling to grasp grade-level language arts concepts • Collaborate with parents and teachers • You will not need to write lessons plans Qualifications: • Available during some or most of the required times (2 pm-6 pm M - Th) • Able to commute to Sophos Speech and Academics • Personable and genuinely enjoys being around children • Able to listen well and respond to the data provided by teachers • Professional and reliable Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly
