  • Responsibilities

    PAY RANGE:

    STARTING pay is $26-$32 an hour. To determine your starting pay, begin at $26.00/hour and add $0.50/hour for each year of verifiable full-time work experience as a paramedic. Annual salary increases up to 5% are based on performance, not survival time. You are able to reach the top of the pay scale in five years, not twenty.

    POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

    Under the Supervisory Staff, the ideal Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (Paramedic) will perform duties associated with providing emergency and non-emergency care and transportation to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

    MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

    Valid Driver License

    Driving record in compliance with company policy

    Current Massachusetts Paramedic certification

    American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

    FEMA IS-100.C Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100

    FEMA IS-200.C Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS-200

    FEMA IS-700.B An Introduction to the National Incident Management System (NIMS)

    FEMA IS-800.D National Response Framework, An Introduction
