  • Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for reviewing all the specs, information, and preparations of Inspection Checklists for all new projects.

    Prepare and plan for all inspection jobs and train QEs accordingly.

    Plan, supervise and monitor QEs on-site quality performance and provide guidance.

    Review reports for accuracy and completeness and ensure that all input data meets the client’s needs to make prompt decisions.

    Verify factory measuring/testing capabilities and ensure that measuring equipment is under valid calibration at the time of inspection.

    Develop report template for new model and submit to Head Technical Supervisor for approval, and upload in the DB

    Responsible for Job Preparation, man days estimation, review report, and field inspection methodology.

    Responsible for reviewing reports, in areas of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) such as Security C, TPAT, WRAP, BSCI, SA8000, and QMS audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).

    Collect Error reports and use it as input to identify training needs for QEs as required

    Investigate Root cause of quality issues, and implement defined CAP.

    Attend meetings with clients as requested.

    Conduct in-house training for quality engineers as needed

    Conduct Annual QE Performance review.

    Requirements:

    Minimum bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or another engineering discipline.

    Five years of industry experience in quality management, with supervisory capacity.

    ISO 9001/ ISO 4001 / IATF 16949/ ISO 13485 / VDA 6.3 / ISO-IEC 17025,ISO-14001, ISO-13485, CTPAT Certification is preferred.

    Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

    Strong knowledge and practical experience of international standards applied to evaluate product conformity

    Good command of theory and practice of sampling plan and AQL.

    Organized, good verbal and written communication skills, proven leadership, effectively instructs others, works efficiently under a minimum of supervision, travels as required, systematic problem-solving.

    At least 2-3 years of working experience with manufacturing, and QA/QC background, working in any industry in Automotive, Hardware, Industrial equipment, Electrical and Electronics, etc.

    Basic knowledge in developing Control Plan. ITP, Checklists , etc.

    Have basic knowledge, understanding, and experience on, Sampling Plans, AQL, APQP, PPAP, SPC, PFMEA, MSA, and others.
