Responsibilities:

Conducts quality control inspections throughout the production process (first-article, in-process and final pre-shipment). QC Inspection duties include, but are not limited to: visual (workmanship) evaluation, functional testing as applicable (measurements, assembly, etc.), packaging & labeling verification, etc. Must be able to read engineering technical drawings and use basic hand tools like digital calipers, etc.

This position is for an on-site 3rd party quality engineering Inspector.

You will be visually inspecting and recording all weld components of each product as well as managing any additional inspectors assigned to your site.

Conducts technical sort and/or rework as necessary for client requirements.

Provides timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence of product, packaging, labeling, defects noted, etc.

Daily and weekly reports will be submitted using Microsoft Word or Excel.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years' experience in a Quality related position.

QC Engineer with Electrical Inspection background preferred.

Ability to work independently.

Comply with all professional ProQC and manufacturing site guidelines and safety requirements.

Good communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Job type: 1099 contract

Shift Hours: Should be available for 1st Shift at certain days, 6-8 hours.

Work Location: around Essex, Burlington and other cities in Vermont state.
