Responsibilities:

Conduct weekly preshipment inspections of green beans at the specified warehouse location.

Inspect 30 pallets per week, with each pallet containing 56 dpc plastic boxes.

Check for defects including broken, light scarring, misshape, russeting, dehydration, worm damage, over-mature, and decay.

Ensure the grade, quality defect, and condition defect percentages meet the required standards.

Verify product label and company details.

Measure the temperature of the produce and weigh the boxes.

Provide detailed reports of the inspection findings.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in the agricultural industry, specifically with fresh produce inspection.

Familiarity with quality control processes for agricultural products.

Knowledge of defect types and acceptable thresholds in produce inspection.

Certifications preferred:

Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent certification.

Knowledge of Agricultural Inspections and processes is preferred.

HACCP certification is a plus.
