We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced probate paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. Ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of probate experience and can handle an uncomplicated case from beginning to end with minimal difficulty. You'll draft legal documents and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. Responsibilities: • Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems • Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings, under the supervision of a lawyer. • Manage case deadlines; Maintain regular client contact; Assist with client meetings. • Work with lawyers to prepare for hearings by conducting research; preparing and organizing exhibits, filing motions, and related matters. • Maintain organized files. Qualifications: • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills • Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education • Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired • Talented communicator and writer • 5 years of experience in legal services under a private sector attorney. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
