In this role you will be responsible for providing excellent legal counseling to our clients. Additionally, this position will be practicing law in accordance with the ABA's Rules of Professional Conduct and State Bar Associate rules. All work conducted by the Associate Attorney must be in support of and under the supervision of the Lead Attorney and founder. Our ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience, a passion for estate planning, ability to maintain and develop relationships.
Immediate opening for a Probate and Estate Planning Attorney in Cary, NC who possesses:
- You are a licensed North Carolina attorney
- 3+ Years Experience primarily focused on the areas of estate administration, elder law and estate planning including Medicaid, Veterans Aid & Attendance, Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives
- You've been using and growing your estate planning and probate expertise for the past several years
- You are experienced with discussing sensitive and delicate matters with clients including experience conducting one-on-one meetings with clients
- You are proficient with different software and virtual technology, such as Zoom, Google, Workspace, Microsoft applications and others
- You care deeply about your client's well-being

Key Responsibilities include:
- Probate and Estate Planning Attorney - Help Our Clients Navigate the Probate Process and Plan for their Future
- The primary responsibility of attorneys at Carolina Family Estate Planning is to provide professional legal counsel, with clarity and compassion, to families who need help with the probate and trust administration process
- You'll work with our team to explain to clients what is required to get their estate settled, what they need to do, and what our law firm will do to help them with it
- Moreover, you'll play an important role in giving clients the peace of mind that they are in good hands with our team
- You'll work with our supporting team of paralegals and legal assistants to ensure all legal documents and correspondence are drafted correctly and that all legal filings are filed correctly and on time
- You will use your expertise to help our non-attorney staff and other attorneys develop and communicate sound strategies for our clients' estates
- You'll also help our estate planning team by delivering presentations to clients that help them understand the tools we use to protect and pass on their estates
- You'll help clients make informed decisions about how their plans should work
- And once the plans are drafted, you'll help make sure their wishes are correctly communicated in their plans
- You'll meet with team members regularly to provide feedback and, working together, continue to improve the quality and efficiency of our services and client communication
- Typical Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility for client workshop presentations
Compensation:
- base salary of $95,000 to $120,000 based on experience, plus opportunities to earn more through incentive-based compensation by accomplishing your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Measures of Success
