About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Process Engineer to support our printed circuit board manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for analyzing production specifications and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, implementing new technologies, and driving process efficiency and product quality.
Analyze, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to meet quality and productivity goals.
Research and recommend new production technologies for cutting-edge circuit board manufacturing.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure equipment and materials meet production and quality requirements.
Use process modeling, testing, and simulation software to refine processes.
Gather and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and technical manuals.
Troubleshoot production issues to reduce downtime and improve quality.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
Evaluate process costs and implement cost-saving strategies.
Train and support team members to ensure adherence to process standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience.
Proven experience in process engineering or manufacturing support, preferably in the PCB or electronics industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Proficiency in process improvement methodologies and relevant software tools.
Within commutable distance, or planning to relocate to commutable distance of our facility located in Mulino, Oregon. This is an onsite position and no relocation expenses will be paid.
