Adam Search Group has a great opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our client's team in the Cranberry, PA, area. In this role, you will establish, control, and improve processes, analyze data, and troubleshoot manufacturing challenges to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Ownership: Lead surface etching and polishing processes with a continuous focus on improvement in capability, throughput, and cost.
- Process Improvement: Drive yield enhancement, process capability, and cost reductions.
- Safety Leadership: Conduct risk assessments, implement engineering controls, and ensure quick resolution of safety concerns.
- Root Cause Problem Solving: Lead problem-solving efforts to identify and address issues at the root cause level.
- New Product Integration: Collaborate with R&D to develop and smoothly and on time transfer new process capabilities to production.
- Project Leadership: Oversee capacity expansion, equipment installation, and process development projects.
- Data Analysis: Work with Test Engineering to analyze test data and improve downstream sensor performance.
- Documentation and Training: Maintain efficiency and quality, develop work instructions, train operators, and monitor process KPIs.
- Continuous Improvement: Execute improvement roadmaps and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for process stability.
- Task Coordination: Manage boards to organize and track tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science & Engineering.
- Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing or process engineering
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience in electronic or sensor manufacturing.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing, SPC, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience in ISO 9001 systems, including SOPs and process control.
- Advanced data analysis skills using Excel or SAS.
- Problem-solving skills: Strong root cause analysis and preventative control implementation.
- Communication and Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, train production operators, and effectively communicate improvements.
- Safety-First Approach: Demonstrated actions ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Color Vision: Ability to discern color-coded safety markers and production processes.
