The Process Improvement Analyst is responsible for analyzing project process data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. This analysis will be used to implement process improvements that will enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies, data analysis, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of existing project processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Gather and analyze data to understand the root causes of process issues and provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement strategies that will improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness within the organization.
Communicate process improvements and changes to all relevant parties.
Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements. Utilizes those metrics to demonstrate the impact that implemented changes have had on the organization.
Monitor and report on the impact of process changes, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the success of process improvements and identify further opportunities for enhancement.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by encouraging innovation and the adoption of best practices.
Experience:
Ability to use Microsoft’s Power Query ETL to build reports.
Ability to build dashboards with Microsoft Power BI data visualizations.
Ability to create and build business applications in Microsoft Power Apps.
Proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Excel, Minitab).
Experience with RedHat open source solutions and Snowflake data platform are a BIG PLUS!
Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent is preferred.
