Job Description

This position will work in all phases of the molding production floor from startup of molds, troubleshooting, set up of molds, and assist in monitoring quality.

Qualifications

• Assist in development of new injection molds by performing process evaluations to assure robust manufacturing performance.

  • Participate in Mold Flow, Design and Construction reviews.
  • Create Operator Molding Standard Work Instructions, PFMEA Matrix, Document Change Checklist, etc.
  • Responsible for RJG E-Dart Hardware Setup.
  • Responsible for setup of Interface with press and auxiliary equipment.

• Establishes and maintains injection mold processing standards for release to production manufacturing. Provides parts for testing and reports for program release to production.

• Adheres to timing schedules, writes reports as needed, and communicates orally and in writing as required.

• Provides support for technical, quality and customer issues.

• Conducts Design of Experiments for optimization and improvement of production manufacturing process.

• Reviews and critiques submitted mold vendor design proposals and assures functional mold performance and adherence to established mold construction standards.
