    Position Summary:

    K-Display, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Process Technician with a strong foundation in maintenance and manufacturing processes. This role will focus on analyzing, designing, and improving processes to ensure efficiency and product quality across our metal fabrication, powder coating, and laser cutting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, a solid understanding of equipment maintenance, and the ability to collaborate with maintenance teams to drive continuous improvements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize existing production processes to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency in metal fabrication, powder coating, and laser cutting operations.

    Maintenance Support: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the reliability of key equipment, including CNC machines, laser cutting systems, powder coating ovens, and other manufacturing equipment. Assist with troubleshooting complex system failures and work on root cause analysis (RCA).

    Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the maintenance, production, and quality assurance teams to implement process changes, track performance, and resolve production challenges. Provide technical support to the teams as needed.

    Preventive Maintenance: Support the development of preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with the maintenance team, ensuring optimal equipment functionality and minimizing unplanned downtime.

    Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all engineering solutions, processes, and equipment comply with industry safety standards and regulations. Promote a culture of safety throughout the manufacturing process.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: 3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a metal fabrication, powder coating, or laser cutting environment. Maintenance experience or familiarity with equipment repair is highly desirable.

    Technical Skills:

    Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including metal fabrication, powder coating, and laser cutting.

    Experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement techniques.

    Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions to improve production processes and equipment reliability.

    Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, production, and quality control.

    Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand, walk, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work with heavy machinery and equipment.

    Comfort with working in environments that may involve exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial materials.
