Purchaser/Planner/Inventory Management
Qualifications:
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems
Strong understanding of BOM structures and inventory management principles
Materials/Parts Procurement:
Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to align purchasing strategies with operational needs.
Communicate with suppliers regarding product specifications, delivery schedules, and any potential issue
Procurement Management
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedule
Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials
Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement and inventory management
Inventory operations:
Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excess.
Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems to ensure accurate records.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations
Financial responsibilities:
Ability to create, send and track Purchase Orders in ERP System
Capable of negotiating terms and managing relationships with numerous Vendors
Skills in researching and suggesting new vendors for management approval
Tracking orders through to QuickBooks, managing AP for the materials orders
