    We are looking for a skilled and experienced e-commerce Buyer - Procurement Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for trends, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the retail industry. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing products for our online stores and identifying materials for wholesale production. Your main tasks will involve sourcing, negotiating prices, and putting together a diverse product range that aligns with our brand identity and meets customer demands. Responsibilities: • Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to identify potential products and suppliers. • Competitor and cost analysis to ensure items are priced correctly and displayed accurately. • Source, find, obtain and procure products from overseas suppliers taking into account all variables duties, taxes, and transit costs. • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules. • Initiate purchase orders for products, raw materials, and other supplies; forecast demand and production schedules. • Use independent judgment to expedite or defer orders as required based on sales/schedule changes. • Ensure compliance of quality, safety, packaging, and timeliness standards by overseas and domestic suppliers. • Obtain samples that match specifications, and evaluate the quality and suitability of products. • Input/track orders and resolve delivery issues with vendors. • Recommend advertising opportunities to sales based on inventory levels and purchasing opportunities. • Assist with periodic inventory counts. • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock turnover and minimize excess stock. • Develop product assortments and gift sets, pitch concepts and promotional strategies to the merchandising team. • Monitor and analyze sales performance to inform future purchasing decisions. • Own the financial outcomes for the performance of the products. • Regularly assess performance and revise assortment as needed. • Rebidding of products increases efficiencies and lowers costs. • Travel Required: Yes, less than 10% of the Time. • Other tasks as required by management. Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail buying, or alternatively, a Master's degree in the same field with at least 3 years of experience in retail buying. • The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in using data analysis tools. • Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate pricing and terms with vendors is essential. • The candidate must be capable of working independently and making well-informed decisions. • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are critical for this role. • Proficiency in the Google/Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is necessary. • Knowledge of retail software and inventory management systems would be advantageous. Compensation: $52,000 - $72,000 yearly
