Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Producer to join our MSNBC Audio Unit. This role will work across multiple podcasts and projects. The AP’s primary role will be to support the unit with a combination of administrative duties (such as organizing tape, booking studios, and updating show websites), and editorial roles (fact checking, cutting tape, and researching). The AP will work closely with podcast producers on series and episodes, including coming up with pitches and assisting with booking. The AP will know how to edit audio and occasionally take the lead in junior-level assignments. The AP should have an interest in news and politics, as well as a basic understanding of narrative storytelling, and adhere to journalistic best practices.

Salary range: $93,000 - $110,000.
