Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • 3D Modeling & Design: Create detailed 3D architectural structures and 2D fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and other CAD tools, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design intent. • Collaborative Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure build feasibility, optimize designs, and resolve any technical challenges. • Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear and precise records, document design revisions, and communicate updates to team members and stakeholders. • Construction Verification: Verify designs during the construction phase, adjusting as necessary to meet project specifications and real-world conditions. • Design Enhancement: Develop designs from third-party CAD files or manual measurements, continuously refining and improving design elements. • Ongoing Learning: Stay current with software updates and new design tools, ensuring your skills remain at the cutting edge of the industry. • Time Management: Prioritize and manage tasks efficiently, meeting project deadlines and contributing to the successful completion of projects, sometimes requiring extended hours as needed. Education / Software Skills: • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or design type degree (Preferred, but not required) • 5+ years of Solidworks experience preferred • Microsoft Windows Environment • Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to read architectural and structural construction drawings (preferred, but not required) Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly
