    POSITION OVERVIEW :

    The Centrifugal Compressor and/or Steam Turbine Product Design Engineer is responsible for engineering calculations and technical oversight of FOX Innovation & Technologies products and services. You will be the lead technical resource producing certain customer documentation, approving drawings, providing disposition to our manufacturing team, and checking that all the components properly come together in their final assembly.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform necessary calculations using FOX proprietary software for internal stakeholders and client documentation
    • Review of 3D models of components and assemblies
    • Review and approve detailed drawings for manufacture of our products, including fastening methods, GD&T, and other engineering information.
    • Follow drawing release workflows and revisioning process
    • Disposition quality concerns
    • Lead internal design reviews with all project disciplines
    • Participate in bid clarifications and client kick-off meetings
    • Create internal documentation defining the details of the FOX’s engineered solutions
    • Lead final walk-around to ensure engineered solution is properly assembled

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • English Language fluency
    • Computer & MS Office proficiency
    • Knowledge of machinery design including manufacturing drawings
    • Familiarity with rotating equipment and turbomachinery preferred
    • Knowledge of CAD Systems, preferably Solid Works and 3D Experience
    • Proficient in mechanical calculations, including bolting, stress analysis, and mechanics of materials
    • Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes, such as milling, turning, and welding
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
    • Able to work flexible hours on occasion to support international client calls

    Experience and Education:

    Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related degree; required
