    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented Product Designer, UI to join our Product Experience team consisting of talented UX designers and UI designers. Collaborating with Product Managers, developers, and fellow designers, you will design features and enhancements for SportsEngine products and create engaging, accessible, and innovative UI solutions. The ideal candidate has experience designing for web and mobile apps. This individual is a creative, conceptual problem-solver with high end design skill mixed with exceptional people and presentation skills to inspire and drive cutting-edge, award-winning initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with UX, Product Management, and Engineering teams to design usable products for the SportsEngine platform and related products.
    • Understand business objectives and user needs.
    • Use research and data to understand the problems that need to be solved and to drive design execution.
    • Ensure consistency in UI design across products by adhering to and contributing to design systems.
    • Produce visual assets including icons, and instructional illustrations when necessary.
    • Modify products in accordance with feedback from users and test groups.
    • Gather feedback and collaborate across multiple cross functional partners.
    • Work closely with developers to ensure design integrity is maintained during implementation.
    • Watch consumer trends to identify desirable product traits.
    • Able to work on multiple tracks and pivot from one project to another.
    • Maintain a critical eye and obsessive attention to detail.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Skills :

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Architecture, Design, or related field.
    • 3+ years of professional experience as a UI Designer.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly and effectively.
    • Experience with transactional and ecommerce platforms.
    • Knowledge of Apple (HIG) Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design.
    • Understand W3C web and accessibility standards.
    • Expert in design tools, including Figma.
    • Experience with continuous design, A/B testing and iteration.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of UI design projects, with a focus on user-centered design.

    Preferred :

    • Familiarity with sports-related platforms or apps.
