Position Overview: As the Assistant to the New Product Development Manager, you will play a key role in the purchasing process, retail operations, and product stocking at our luxury nutrition center pre and post opening. This position offers an incredible opportunity to expand your knowledge in supplements, herbal medicines, and product development within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Inventory Management: Assist with the ordering, stocking, and organization of products. Ensure inventory levels are maintained and products are displayed effectively for retail.
Retail Operations Support: Aid in creating engaging product displays, managing customer interactions, and maintaining the store’s overall look and feel.
Marketing Support: Collaborate on promotional materials and help develop strategies to market new products effectively to our customer base.
Product Development: Work closely with the New Product Development Manager to assist in sourcing and testing new supplements and herbal products.
Customer Engagement: Be an advocate for healthy living by helping customers make informed product choices that align with their wellness goals.
Data & Reporting: Use Excel to track inventory, sales, and product trends. Organize product data and reports for better decision-making and sales optimization.
Requirements:
Experience: A strong background in retail operations, stocking, and inventory management. Prior experience with natural products or supplements is highly preferred.
Natural Product Knowledge: Deep interest in and passion for supplements, herbal medicines, and wellness trends. Willingness to learn more about the industry and stay up-to-date with the latest products.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently. Experience with Excel is essential for inventory tracking and reporting.
Team Player: Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
Enthusiasm for Health: A personal passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their health goals.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact confidently and professionally with customers and team members.
