Product Engineer – Aerospace & Industrial Manufacturing

Emerge is recruiting for a Product Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality castings and precision-engineered components for the aerospace and industrial sectors.

This role is a key player in optimizing tooling and dimensional characteristics in the foundry/casting process. The Product Engineer will work alongside a Process Engineer to maximize product yield, reduce costs, and ensure top-tier quality that meets or exceeds customer expectations. This is a high-impact position involving both new product development and production engineering, requiring strong collaboration with engineers, manufacturing teams, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

?? Lead tooling design and implementation to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
?? Optimize dimensional yields of castings while reducing production costs.
?? Develop and refine manufacturing processes for both new and existing castings.
?? Prepare First Article Inspections to qualify parts for production.
?? Provide technical support to customers and address any concerns.
?? Utilize data analysis and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvements.
?? Create and maintain work instructions, reports, and technical documentation.

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) OR equivalent hands-on experience.
  ? Foundry or Casting background or experience
  ? Proficiency in SolidWorks & NX CAD.
  ? Experience with Minitab, statistics, and strong Excel skills.
  ? Background in tooling design, dimensional inspection, or metrology.
  ? Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, Political Asylee, or Refugee). Work Visa Sponsorship or Transfer is NOT available.
