    Job Description

    As a Product Manager you will drive the definition, development, and introduction of intrusion hardware products globally. By working in close alignment with customers, markets, and internal stakeholders, you will strive to continuously improve our integral offerings.

    This role requires an analytical mindset and will focus on our new global intrusion ecosystem architecture and roadmap. Excellent cross-functional collaborative skills are required as you work with team members from product management, engineering, and marketing to understand the technology required to deliver a customer focused solution. Customer interaction will include system integrators, third-party integrators, and end users. You will focus on voice of customer and market data to create a cohesive go-to-market architecture, roadmap, and strategy.

    The right candidate possesses a strong background in customer-experience, product management, engineering, or product marketing in a technology focused company. The candidate should have a track record of timely delivery of projects, being willing to dig in and get the job done and providing input to speed up key decisions. We are looking for an individual motivated to assist us as we accelerate our business growth. Tasks will include:

    • Owning Products: Manage technically complex new intrusion hardware products to achieve defined business objectives. Write product requirements for upcoming releases of the new control panels and modules. Work closely with engineering during the planning and development of new products. Manage the near term and long-term product roadmap.
    • Launching Products: Responsible for managing global product launches of new hardware releases. Responsibilities include coordinating a cross-functional team to develop and deliver handoff materials, assisting in the development of marketing materials.
    • Gathering Market Insight/Intel : Embrace continuous feedback and product input from our sales team and system integrators. Work with customers and potential customers to gather feedback on how to improve and extend our hardware platform.
    • Performing Competitor Analysis : Keep abreast of competitor products and market trends to develop and maintain strategic vision for product roadmaps.
    • Integrating with Software Products: Work closely with the software product managers to integrate the hardware and software solutions to optimize the customer’s experience.

    Qualifications

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

    • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing or related fields (Technical background preferred).
    • 5+ years of experience in product management in a technology company overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.
    • Experience in international business environment in marketing and business development.
    • Expertise in market segmentation, product and service strategy, competitive strategy, and product/service development
    • Superior analytical and quantitative skills
    • Experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.
    • Technical fluency and experience in contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation.
    • Strong bias for action with an ability to create a sense of urgency to drive results.
    • Ability to generate succinct customer use cases and familiar with managing requirements.
    • Knowledge or experience in the Intrusion industry a plus.
    • Willingness and ability to travel 10 to 20% (domestic & international).

    The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 to $125,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
