Our client a late stage start up in medical devices, is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and commercialization of innovative medical device solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong experience in orthopedic products, who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is dedicated to addressing unmet clinical needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Market Analysis
- Develop and execute product strategies aligned with company objectives and market demands.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Define product positioning, messaging, and differentiation strategies.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Partner with R&D teams to drive product innovation from concept to commercialization.
- Oversee clinical evaluations, testing, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Manage the product lifecycle, including ongoing enhancements and future planning.
Commercialization & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead go-to-market planning, sales training, and execution of marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and industry stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on orthopedic products.
- Strong understanding of clinical procedures, patient and surgeon needs, and market trends.
- Proven experience in product development, commercialization, and regulatory processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze data, drive strategy, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
